Can I drive in Europe?

Yes — minimum third-party cover is automatic across the EU. Comprehensive often needs an add-on.
Am I covered to drive other vehicles?

Sometimes — and only on a third-party basis. Check your certificate.
Am I covered to tow a trailer?

Third-party cover is automatic while attached. Comprehensive needs an add-on.
Am I entitled to a courtesy vehicle?

Only if you have the courtesy vehicle add-on, or your repairer offers one as a goodwill gesture.
Driving in Northern Ireland

Check the territorial limits and conditions in your policy before travelling.
Driving in the Republic of Ireland

A green card is not required for Ireland, but check the cover and documents needed for your trip.
Provisional licence — what's covered?

Learner drivers need suitable insurance, a valid provisional licence and the required supervision.
Track day cover

Check specifically for track-day cover; ordinary road insurance may exclude it.
