Can I drive in Europe?
Yes — minimum third-party cover is automatic across the EU. Comprehensive often needs an add-on.

Am I covered to drive other vehicles?
Sometimes — and only on a third-party basis. Check your certificate.

Am I covered to tow a trailer?
Third-party cover is automatic while attached. Comprehensive needs an add-on.

Am I entitled to a courtesy vehicle?
Only if you have the courtesy vehicle add-on, or your repairer offers one as a goodwill gesture.

Driving in Northern Ireland
Same insurance as the rest of the UK. No green card needed.

Driving in the Republic of Ireland
Third-party cover is automatic. A green card isn't legally required but it's recommended.

Provisional licence — what's covered?
Provisional drivers need their own learner policy, or to be named on someone else's.

Standard policies exclude track use. You need specialist single-day cover.
