Am I entitled to a courtesy vehicle?

Only if you have the courtesy vehicle add-on, or your repairer offers one as a goodwill gesture.


Some policies include a replacement vehicle as part of your insurance cover. To check if you're eligible, review your policy wording in My Portal.

Most policies do not include a courtesy vehicle by default. Instead, it's available as an optional add-on. If you've purchased this extra, you can follow the steps below to use it.

📱How to add it

  1. Log in to My Portal Open the app and sign in.
  2. Select your policy From the Policy tab.
  3. Tap Add-ons At the top of the card view.
  4. Choose Courtesy Vehicle Cover Then complete payment.

🆘How to make a claim

If your vehicle is undriveable and you need a replacement, call within 14 days of the incident: 0344 856 2359. The hire team will arrange a suitable replacement vehicle as quickly as possible.
