Update your occupation

Insurers rate on occupation. Update from Manage policy.

Started a new job? Keeping your occupation up to date is a legal requirement to keep your policy valid. You can make the change anytime through My Portal.

📱How to update

  1. Log in to My Portal Open the app and sign in.
  2. Choose your policy From the Policy tab.
  3. Tap Manage Policy at the bottom Then select Change Occupation.
  4. Enter your new job details You'll usually receive an updated quote right away. If not, we'll show a number to call.

💷What will it cost?

  • Admin fee: £45
  • Premium: may increase, decrease or stay the same depending on your new occupation

We'll clearly show any change in cost before you confirm — and if your premium drops, you'll get a refund or lower monthly payments.
