Change of vehicle registration

Moving a cherished plate? Update from Manage policy.

Changed your reg plates recently? You can update your vehicle registration quickly and securely through My Portal. Keeping your registration details up to date is a legal requirement to keep your policy valid.

📱How to update

  1. Log in to My Portal Open the app and sign in.
  2. Choose your policy From the Policy tab.
  3. Tap Manage Policy at the bottom Then select Update Reg Plate.
  4. Enter the new registration details You'll usually receive an instant quote. If not, a phone number will appear so you can speak to our team.

💷What will it cost?

  • Admin fee: £45
  • Premium: may increase, decrease or stay the same, depending on your updated registration details

Any change in cost is shown before you confirm. If your premium goes down, you'll receive a refund or lower monthly payments.
