What permissions does My Portal ask for, and why?

Notifications, location and biometrics — we only ask when there's a clear reason.


We ask for three system permissions, never on launch and only when they're useful.

🔐What we ask for

  • Face ID or Touch ID — so you can skip the magic-link on future sign-ins. Optional.
  • Notifications — for MOT, tax, renewal, claim and payment alerts. Asked the first time you open a policy where a reminder would help.
  • Location (when in use) — only to auto-fill your address when you add a policy.
