What happens to my account if something happens to me?

Email privacy@myportal.co.uk with a death certificate; we work with the executor to release records.


If the account holder dies or loses capacity, the executor / next of kin can request access to records via privacy@myportal.co.uk. We'll need:

  • A copy of the death certificate or power-of-attorney document
  • Proof you're the executor / appointed attorney
  • The deceased / incapacitated person's account email

We'll work with the executor to release relevant policy records (so claims and cancellations can be progressed) and close the account on instruction. For specifics on what data we can share, contact privacy@myportal.co.uk with the executor's details.
