Key protection

Pays to replace lost or damaged keys, including remote fobs and locks.

Key Protection covers you if your insured key is:

  • Lost
  • Stolen
  • Accidentally damaged

You'll be covered for:

  • Locksmith charges
  • New locks
  • Replacement keys
  • Onward transportation
  • Vehicle hire
  • Accommodation

🛡️Am I covered?

Key Protection is an add-on. To check if you already have it, open My Portal and tap the Add-ons tab.

📱How to add it

  1. Log in to My Portal Open the app and sign in.
  2. Select your policy From the Policy tab.
  3. Tap Add-ons And choose Key Protection.
  4. Complete payment You'll be covered from then on.

🆘How to make a claim

  1. Report theft if applicable If stolen, report to police and obtain a crime reference number.
  2. Call to claim 0344 856 2270 within 30 days of the incident.
