Add a Manual Policy
HOW DO I ADD A MANUAL POLICY?
To add a manual policy, press the ‘+’ icon in the top right of the policies page and select ‘add policy’.
Next, you can choose from a variety of policy types to add, such as van, bike, car and home policies.
Finally, complete the form, entering all the requested information about your policy and save your policy.
The policy will then be added and we will automatically drag in MOT and tax details through for the manual policy, free of charge.
To make things easier for you, we have outlined the steps you can take to add a manual policy below:
TYPES OF POLICIES
There are two types of policies, manual policies and auto policies.
AUTO POLICIES
Auto policies are policies that will automatically appear in the app if you have purchased a policy through one of our supported brokers. All your policy documents for the policy will appear under the ‘my documents’ tab and you’ll be able to manage all aspects of your policy and make payments right from within the app.
MANUAL POLICIES
You can also add manual policies to the app, these are policies that are from other third-party (non-supported) insures and brokers. These can be added along side your auto policies if you’re an existing customer, or even if you have no policies with us, you can use the app to store all your various manual policies. Every manual policy type is covered, from car insurance to Netflix bills!
You can also manage your manual policies from within the app. We’ve added support for every insurer and broker in the UK, meaning you can login to your third party websites/portals from the app, as well as having your various customer service and claims numbers readily available for when you need to call!
You can also store all your policy documents for your manual policies within the app for safe keeping! Simply upload the images or files directly, or use the apps inbuilt scanner to save the documents and go paperless!
