WHAT IS BREAKDOWN COVER?
Our breakdown cover add-on provides cover for you if your vehicle suffers a
breakdown due to an electrical or mechanical
failure, lack of fuel, accident, vandalism, fire, theft, or attempted theft to the vehicle, which
the vehicle immobilised.
There are three tiers of breakdown cover that we offer:
Roadside Assistance & Recovery
Covering breakdowns which occur more than a one-mile radius from your home address, cover is for you and your vehicle to be recovered to the nearest garage, your home or original destination up to 20 miles from the scene of the breakdown.
Home Start & National Recovery
In addition to the cover provided with Local cover above, your vehicle will be covered at your registered home address or within a one-mile radius of your home address. Your vehicle can also be recovered to your home address, or if you would prefer, your original destination within the UK.
UK & European Recovery
In addition to the cover provided with National cover, your vehicle will also be
covered within the following European
Albania, Andorra, Austria, Balearics, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canary Isles, Corsica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, San Marino, Sardinia, Serbia, Sicily, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey (West of Bosphorus) and Vatican City.

HOW DO I MAKE A CLAIM?
If Your Vehicle breaks down please call Our 24 hour Control Centre on 0333 200 4674.
Calls to 0333 numbers are usually chargeable at a local rate from both UK landlines and mobile phones. These calls are usually included within network providers’ “free minutes” packages.
You should also ensure that you have your own insurance details available.
AM I ABLE TO CANCEL THIS ADD-ON?
You have the right to cancel this add-on within 14 days of the
date of issue. We will
refund to you any premium you have paid and will recover from you any payments we have made.
You may cancel this add-on after the 14 day cooling off period but no refund of premium is available.
A refund of premium is not available if the Period of Insurance of the policy is for a period of less than one month.
